Chiranjeevi General Store

Chiranjeevi General Store is located at number 201 on the road between Akkupalli and Baipalli. We are right in the heart of Baipalli. It is a small, family-run shop that has been serving this village for many years. The building is simple, with an open front that lets in the breeze and sometimes the dust from the road. We sell a bit of everything, from groceries to small household items. Our days are mostly spent waiting on the locals who come in to pick up what they need for their families. We know most of our customers by name and we know exactly what they usually buy. It is a very personal way to run a business. We do not have any fancy technology or computerized systems. We just use a simple notebook to keep track of things and we count change by hand. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we often spend a few minutes chatting with whoever comes in. During the harvest season, the road outside gets busy with tractors and people, but otherwise, it is a fairly quiet spot. We take turns looking after the store so someone is always here from morning till night. We do not have any big plans to change the way we do things. We just like being the place where the people of Baipalli can find what they need close to home. It is a humble life, and we are happy with it.
