Harinarayan Palod & Company

Our office, Harinarayan Palod & Company, sits right at Nehru Chowk on Station Road. If you know Ganjbasoda, you know how busy this corner gets. There is always something happening outside. We’ve been based in Dist Vidisha for quite some time now. Most of our days are spent talking to farmers or local traders who come by the chowk. It’s a very central spot which makes it easy for people to find us when they are out doing their errands. The building is older and has that lived-in feel to it. We don't bother much with modern decorations. We just have our desks and the ledgers we need. Sometimes the tea man from across the street brings us a round while we work. It’s a friendly atmosphere even when we are busy. We handle a lot of the day-to-day stuff that keeps a local business running. It isn’t always perfect and sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we get through it. People know they can just walk in and have a chat about what they need. We’ve seen many shops come and go around Nehru Chowk but we are still here. It’s a good community to be part of. We like the noise and the energy of being so close to the station. It feels like the heart of the town and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We just keep working away at our own pace every day, helping whoever comes through the door.
