Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited

We are based out at 32 No. Middle Camp, right along NH-31 A in the East District. Being right near the highway means there is always a bit of a rumble from the passing trucks, but it makes getting our supplies in and out a lot easier for the drivers. We deal with pharmaceutical manufacturing here. It’s a fairly big facility, and there’s always something going on, whether it’s a shift change or a new delivery arriving at the loading dock. The air around here feels a bit different than it does in the middle of the city, which some of us really appreciate. Inside, things are kept very clean because they have to be for the medicine, but the break rooms and the offices have that lived-in, everyday feel. We’ve got old posters on the walls about safety and some calendars that have been there for a while. It’s a serious job, making sure everything is produced correctly, so we don't joke around much when we're on the floor. But in the canteen during lunch, you’ll hear plenty of loud talk about cricket or what people are doing for the weekend. The parking lot is usually full by eight in the morning with scooters and cars. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy in this district, and you can hear it drumming loudly on the metal roof of the warehouse. We just keep our heads down and follow the daily protocols. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s steady.
