If you ever find yourself in Deorali Bazar, you’ll likely see our shop, Subham Enterprises. We are right there in the heart of the market, close to the post office and the police station. It’s a busy spot, especially on market days when everyone from the surrounding hills comes down to trade. We’ve been operating here for a long time, selling all sorts of general items that people need. Our shop is a bit small and we have to stack things high up on the shelves to make everything fit. It isn't a modern supermarket with wide aisles. It’s a tight, cozy space where we know where every single item is hidden. The weather in Deorali can be damp, so we spend a lot of time making sure our goods stay in good condition. We don't have a big marketing plan or a mission statement. We just open the shop every morning and wait for the customers to come in. We enjoy the talk and the bargaining that happens in the bazar. It’s a very human way of doing business. We try to keep our prices fair because we know our neighbors aren't made of money. It’s a simple life, and we are content with how things are. We just want to keep the shop going and be a useful part of the Deorali community for many more years to come.
