Down here in Thangchang, right by Gt Gift, you’ll find our little setup for Jugghead Advertising Agency. We aren't one of those big city agencies with suits and glass walls. It's mostly just us working on posters, some local flyers, and helping shops in Gangtok get their names out there. The office is often full of the smell of ink and paper. We started this because we liked the creative side of things but wanted to keep it local. The weather in Gangtok can be a bit damp and cold, so sometimes the printer acts up, which is a real pain when we have a deadline. We just deal with it. People walk in with an idea on a scrap of paper and we try to make it look like something professional they can actually use for their business. It’s a lot of back and forth, changing colors or moving text around until it looks right to the owner. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. It’s a good location because people stop by while they’re doing their shopping at the nearby stores. We don't have a receptionist or anything, so you usually just walk right into where the computers are. It gets a bit crowded when more than two people visit at once, especially with all the boxes of paper everywhere. We just focus on the work and making sure the print quality is decent enough for the street.
