Dhaker Food Products

We have been set up in Village Shadi for quite a while now. Our place is right near the SBI Bank, which is where most people recognize the turn-off. In the mornings, you can see the staff arriving on their bikes, and we get the shutters open early before the heat in Begun gets too bad. It is a simple setup we have here at Dhaker Food Products. We spend the whole day dealing with different food items, mostly sorting and getting things ready for the local shops. The post office is just down the road too, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. There isn't much flash to what we do. The floor is often covered in bits of grain or dust from the bags, and the machines have their own way of making a lot of noise. We usually stop for tea around mid-day under the shade. It gets dusty, and sometimes the bags are a bit heavy to move around, but we just get on with it. It’s nice being in a village like this where you know the neighbors and they know what you’re up to. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that, just a few of us making sure the work gets done before the sun goes down. Most people just stop by if they need something or to say hello while they’re going to the bank.
