About Shree Satya Sai Baba Rice Mill – Food & Beverages in Gangawati
We run the Shree Satya Sai Baba Rice Mill at 61, R.G. Road in Anegundi. If you drive down R.G. Road, you can usually hear the machines before you see the building. It’s a loud place, full of the sound of engines and grain moving around. There is always a bit of dust in the air, no matter how much we clean. We’ve been here at number 61 for quite some time. Anegundi is a small place with a lot of history, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. We spend our days dealing with the farmers and the trucks that come to pick up the rice. It’s heavy work, and at the end of the day, your back usually aches a bit. We don’t have a fancy office. It’s just a desk in the middle of everything where we keep track of the bags on a clipboard. We aren't looking to be the biggest mill in the state. We just want to do a good job with the rice and keep the machines running right. Sometimes something breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just part of it. We like the smell of the grain and the rhythm of the work. It’s a practical business, and we’re just practical people trying to keep it going for the next year. We hope to stay on R.G. Road for a long time.
