Meem International

We are located out in Village Khanpur, which is a quiet place in the Agacha area. To get our mail, we have to go over to the post office in Dangarhat. Being in the Kumarganj police station jurisdiction of Dakshin Dinajpur means we are quite far from the big cities, but that is fine with us. Meem International is the name we use for the business, though most people around here just know us by our names. We don't have a big fancy office with glass doors. It’s a practical space where we get our work done. The roads out here can get pretty muddy when it rains, so sometimes things slow down a bit. We don’t have a big staff, just a few local people who know the work well. Most of what we do involves helping out the farmers and other villagers with what they need. We don’t spend money on advertisements or radio spots. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. We just open up and see who comes by. It is a slow pace of life compared to the city, and we like it that way. The building is simple and we’ve added bits to it over the years as we needed more space. Sometimes we sit outside and have tea when it isn't too busy. It’s just an honest way to make a living in a place we call home.
