We are located up in Sri Ganganagar, right in the northern part of Rajasthan. Ved Hans Transmission Of India isn’t a huge corporate setup. It’s more of a place where we get things done. Transmission work involves a lot of parts and pieces that people don’t usually see. We have a lot of heavy stuff moving through here. The 335001 area code is where we’ve been for years. The winters here get really cold, and the summers are just the opposite, so we’ve learned to work with whatever the weather throws at us. We have some grease on our hands most days. It’s not a clean desk job. We talk to a lot of guys from the local farms and factories who need parts fixed or replaced. Sometimes we have to wait a week for a specific part to arrive from another state. It gets frustrating, but our customers around here understand. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising. People mostly know us by word of mouth in Ganganagar. The shop floor is usually a bit cluttered with crates and metal scraps. We just try to keep the machines running and the orders moving. It’s a simple operation, really. Most of us live nearby, so we’re part of the neighborhood. We drink a lot of tea while we look over the work orders. We aren't trying to be famous, just trying to keep the transmission lines going for everyone in this part of India.
