Teddy Shoppy

We are located in 4 L Block in Sri Ganganagar, right near the Chit Chat Cyber Cafe. Most people find us because of the cafe next door. At Teddy Shoppy, the place is basically filled to the ceiling with all kinds of soft toys and stuffed animals. It can get a bit overwhelming when you first walk in because there isn't much empty floor space left to move around. We spend a lot of our time dusting the shelves and rearranging the bears so they don't tumble over onto the floor. It’s a cheerful enough place, but it's also a lot of work keeping everything clean when the weather gets dusty outside. Kids come in with their parents and sometimes they move things around, but we don’t mind it much. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change, but our little shop stays pretty much the same every year. The light inside isn't the brightest, and the aisles are quite narrow for two people. If someone is already in a row, the next person usually has to wait a second. We don't use a fancy computer system for our sales; we just use a basic calculator and write out the receipts by hand. It feels a bit more personal that way. Sometimes the internet at the cyber cafe goes down and people wander in here to talk while they wait. We enjoy the company. It's just a small shop.
