Our place is at 23/302 on Shahpur Road in Ganganagar. It’s a busy road, so there’s always something going on outside. Amit Mohatta Import Export Private Limited is a small company. We handle both imports and exports, which means our work changes depending on the season. Some months we are sending stuff out, and other months we are bringing things in. Ganganagar is a good place for this kind of business. The office is nothing special, just a room with some desks and a couple of laptops. We don’t have a receptionist or a big sign. Most people who work with us already know where we are. We spend a lot of time on the phone with transporters and agents. It can be a bit stressful when a shipment is late, but we’ve learned to deal with it over the years. We aren't a big corporate entity with lots of rules. We just do the work as it comes. It’s a local business, run by local people. We know the area well and we like being on Shahpur Road. It’s convenient for getting around. We keep our overheads low and just focus on moving the goods. It’s steady work and it keeps us occupied throughout the week. There is a tea stall down the street where we go when we need a break. We usually lock up around six and head home.
