Shree Clinic Laboratory

We are right here by the Shiva Ji Nagar railway gate. Sometimes the gate stays down for a long time and the traffic piles up, but that’s just how it is in Nanded. People walk over from the station side to get their blood work done or drop off samples. It’s a small place, nothing fancy. We’ve got the basic equipment for tests and we spend most of our mornings handling the rush. The sounds of the trains are constant, you kind of get used to the whistling and the tracks rumbling after a few days. It gets dusty because of the road work nearby, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the counters. Most of the folks who come in are locals from the colony or people heading to work. We don't have a big waiting room, just a few chairs where people sit and wait for their turn. My assistant usually handles the paperwork while I’m in the back with the samples. It’s a busy spot especially when the gate is open and everyone tries to cross at once. We just keep things moving as much as we can. It’s not a quiet place but it’s where we work every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, more shops opening up, but the railway gate is still the main landmark for everyone trying to find us. It gets the job done.
