Shuvankar Maji & Co.

Our place is in Gangajalghati, right near the LIC office. Shuvankar Maji & Co. has been a part of this village for a long time. We do a bit of everything when it comes to local trading and general supplies. It is a small operation, and we do not have many employees, just a few local guys who know the area well. Being near the LIC office means people are always passing by our door, which is good for business. We are not very formal here; you will not see any suits or ties in our office. It is mostly just desks, ledgers, and a lot of talk about the day’s tasks. We handle various goods and try to keep our inventory organized, though it gets a bit messy when we get a big delivery in. We do not use any fancy business jargon. We just talk like normal people and try to help our customers out. Some days are slow and we spend time chatting with neighbors who stop by for a minute. Other days are a total rush from morning until night. We have had this business for years and it is how we support our families. We are not looking to become a giant company; we just want to keep doing what we are doing in Gangajalghati. It is a quiet life, but it is a good one. We value being reliable and just getting the work done every single day.
