Vouge Clothing Pvt Ltd is located over at the Hindustan Warehouse. It is right on the Isanpur Narol Highway, directly opposite the Mahalaxmi Textile building. This is not a place for casual shopping or browsing. It is a warehouse environment through and through. Everything is about boxes, pallets, and heavy lifting. The highway is right there, so you always hear the roar of the big trucks and the honking of the long-haul drivers passing through. It is a big, open space with high ceilings and cold concrete floors. We spend our days sorting through bulk shipments of clothes. It gets very hot under the tin roof in the afternoons, but we just keep the big loading doors open to get a bit of air. There is no air conditioning here, just a few industrial fans that mostly move the dust around. We wear heavy shoes because you never know when you might stub your toe on a wooden crate or a heavy pallet. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of old desks and a computer that is always covered in a fine layer of grit from the highway road. We drink a lot of water and keep the tea kettle going for most of the day. It is a lot of manual work, checking labels and making sure the counts are exactly right. People come and go in big vans and tempos. It is a loud, busy, and hardworking part of Narol. We are just one of the many spots along this stretch.
