Uma Clinic

Started Uma Clinic here in Bareja because the area needed someone to look at basic health stuff. Most days it’s just me and the staff checking on people who live nearby. Bareja isn't that huge, so we know most of the faces that walk through the door. We keep things pretty simple. There’s a waiting area, some chairs, and we try to get to everyone as they come in. It’s not a fancy place with shiny floors or anything like that. Just a regular clinic where we handle the usual coughs, fevers, and minor aches. Sometimes the power goes out or it gets a bit dusty being right here, but that’s just how it is. We spend a lot of time just talking to patients about their families while we work. It’s a quiet life mostly. We don’t have a big marketing team or a website that looks professional. It’s just a spot on the map where you can go when you don’t feel right. My desk is usually a bit messy with papers, and the chairs in the front might creak a little. But people seem to find their way here just fine. We open up in the morning, stay till the evening, and do it all again the next day. It’s honest work and we like being part of the community here in Bareja. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but the fan works okay.
