Tulsi Garment

Tulsi Garment is located at number 28 in the Tulsi Shopping Center at Sardar Patel Chowk. We are right in the heart of Krishnanagar. The chowk is always a hub of activity with buses and rickshaws going in every direction. It’s a good spot because people are always passing through on their way to somewhere else. Our shop is inside the shopping center which has a lot of other small businesses like ours. We’ve been here for a good while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just us and the clothes. We spend a lot of time sorting through sizes and making sure everything looks halfway decent on the hangers. It’s a lot of repetitive work but we don't mind it. The afternoons can be a bit slow when the sun is hot and people stay indoors. That’s usually when we get our own work done or catch up on some rest. When evening comes, the whole area wakes up again and it gets busy until we close the shutters. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local garment shop trying to make a living in Krishnanagar. Most of our customers are from the nearby streets and we know many of them by name. It’s a comfortable way to work and we just take it one day at a time.
