Trainee Engineer

You can find me over at B85 in the Umang Tenament area, which is on Hirawadi Road in Mahavir Nagar. It’s a lively part of Ahmedabad. I’m a trainee engineer, so most of my time is spent trying to bridge the gap between what I learned in books and how things actually work in the real world. My workspace is pretty basic. I have a desk, a laptop, and a bunch of manuals that I’m constantly flipping through. Ahmedabad-382345 is where I’ve set up shop for now. It’s a good neighborhood with lots of small businesses and families around. I don’t pretend to know everything yet. Every day brings a new problem to solve, whether it’s a mechanical issue or a software glitch. I like the hands-on aspect of being an engineer. Some people think it’s all math, but a lot of it is just common sense and persistence. I often walk down Hirawadi Road to grab a snack when I’m stuck on a project. The air is always full of city sounds here. I don’t have a marketing team or a fancy title. I’m just a guy in a tenement building trying to do good engineering work. It’s a lot of trial and error, but that’s how you learn the trade properly. I’m glad to be doing it here in Mahavir Nagar for the time being.
