Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (R & D Centre)

We are located out in Village Bhat, near Kanoria Hospital in the Gandhinagar district. This particular spot is our research and development center. It’s a bit away from the main city buzz, which is good for the kind of work we do here. We have various labs where people are busy with experiments and testing most of the day. It’s a lot of white coats and silence in the hallways. The building is functional and kept pretty clean, unlike some of the more industrial places. We don't really have people walking in off the street. It’s a secure site because of the nature of the research. There’s a lot of equipment that needs careful handling. We spend a lot of time looking at data and making notes. The grounds around the building are simple, nothing too fancy. Sometimes you can see the hospital from the windows. It’s a place where we try to figure things out, one step at a time. It's not fast-paced like a sales office; it’s more about being thorough. We've been here in Bhat for a while now. The staff mostly comes in from the surrounding areas. It’s a steady place to work, even if the work itself can be quite complicated at times. We take our breaks in the small canteen and then go back to the lab. It's quiet, but it’s what we need to concentrate on the science.
