Tauschen Knitting Private Limited is located at Block No 153/1, right behind the Surya Palace Hotel near the Ring Road circle. It’s a busy spot on the Himat Nagar Road. You can’t miss it if you’re coming from the circle. We do a lot of knitting work here. The machines can be quite loud when they're all running at once. We’ve had to get used to talking over the hum. Our team is mostly local people from around Ahmedabad. We don't really go for the polished look in our workplace. It’s more about being functional. There are spools of yarn and finished pieces piled up in different corners. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on the Ring Road, but we take it in stride. We’ve been in this building for some time now. It has its quirks, like the door that sticks in the humidity. We just make do and keep the production line moving. It’s a busy environment and there isn't much downtime. When we do take a break, we usually sit outside by the gate to catch some fresh air. It's a plain, honest way to make a living. No one here is trying to impress anybody with big words or fancy presentations. We just knit and make sure the items are ready for the trucks. It isn't always perfect, but we put in the hours and the effort needed to get it done.
