Syndicate Market is situated at Plot No-C/1/3024 in Phase 3 of the GIDC Industrial Area in Kalol. Being in the GIDC means we are surrounded by a lot of factories and industrial sheds. It’s a very different environment compared to a residential market. There is a lot of heavy truck traffic and the sound of machinery in the distance most of the time. We have been here at this plot for a while, providing what the local industries and workers need. The space is large and functional, built more for utility than looks. We deal with a lot of different supplies that people in this area require. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially with all the metal and concrete around. Our days usually start very early because that’s when the shifts change and people are on the move. We aren't trying to be a fancy mall; we are a practical market for a working area. Most of the people who come here are workers or managers from the nearby plants. We know a lot of them by name now. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. We keep the inventory moving and try to stay organized, even when things get hectic with big deliveries. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on your feet. That’s just how it goes in the GIDC. You see a lot of dust in the air during the summer months.
