Metro Electronics

Our place is over in Sector-24, at 25/109. It’s a small shop but it’s full of gadgets and parts. If you walk in, you’ll see wires and circuit boards all over the benches. We spend our days leaning over tables with soldering irons. It’s quiet work, mostly, except for when we’re testing something and it starts beeping. People from around the sector come to us when their stuff stops working or when they need a specific component they can't find elsewhere. We’ve got shelves stacked high with boxes that only we know the contents of. It might look like a mess to someone else, but we have our own system. The lighting isn't the best, but we have those little desk lamps for the fine details. We’ve been doing electronics for a while now, so we’ve seen how things have changed from the old bulky parts to the tiny ones that are hard to see. Sector-24 is a decent place to be, and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. We aren't some big tech firm; we're just guys who like figuring out why things aren't turning on. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought, and we have to call the customer and explain the delay. Most people understand. We just take it one board at a time. It’s good to see someone’s face light up when their favorite device starts working again after we’ve tinkered with it for hours.
