Shri Ambica Medical And Provision Store is located over in Nirnay Nagar, specifically near the Someshwar Tenament area. We have been operating from this location for a while now. It is one of those places where you can find your prescription meds and also pick up some milk or biscuits on the way home. Nirnay Nagar is a residential spot, so most of our customers are families living in the nearby tenements. The shop isn't massive, but we use every inch of space on the walls for shelving. It gets a bit busy in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work and realizes they forgot to buy something. We have the usual glass cases for the medicines and some plastic bins for the smaller provision items. Working here means you get to know the local kids and the elders quite well. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to wait around to stack the new stock. It’s a lot of manual work, checking labels and making sure things aren't expired. We don't use any high-tech systems, just a simple way of doing things that has worked for us. If someone needs something we don't have, we try to get it by the next day. It’s a straightforward business. We like being in this part of town because it feels like a real community. The fan hums overhead all day and we just keep serving whoever walks in.
