Shree Vishvakarma Engineering Works

Shree Vishvakarma Engineering Works is situated in Barejadi, right behind the old Acid Mills. This is an older industrial part of Nandej, near Ahmedabad. Our workshop is a place where you’ll find heavy tools, machines, and the smell of grease and metal. The floor is usually covered in iron filings or oil spots, which is just part of the engineering trade. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned office. We work out in the shop where the action is. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we keep the big fans running and just get on with our work. We spend our days fixing parts and building things for our customers. People from all over the area come to us when they need something repaired or fabricated because they know we’ve been here for a long time. We aren't big on talking or making grand claims. We just look at the machine or the part and see what needs to be done. Our clothes are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift, but that’s the nature of the work. Nandej is a bit far from the city noise, which we actually prefer. It gives us the space we need to operate the heavy equipment without bothering too many people. We just do the work as it comes in and try to do it right.
