Shree Sharda Crockery House

You can find us at Bachubhai Estate on Naroda Road. It is the Saijpur Memco area, which stays pretty crowded most days with all the trucks and people moving around. Shree Sharda Crockery House is where we keep all the plates, bowls, and glass items. It is a lot of fragile stuff, so we have to be careful when we are walking through the aisles. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. We have been in this estate for a long time. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the display pieces so they look decent. It is not a modern mall shop; it is more of a traditional store where things are stacked up high. We get a mix of people coming in, some looking for a single replacement cup and others looking to buy sets for a whole house. My family has been involved in this for years. We know where every single box is kept even if it looks like a mess to someone walking in for the first time. The Naroda Road traffic can be a nightmare in the evening, so we usually try to get our big deliveries done early in the morning. It is a straightforward business. We sell crockery, we pack it in newspaper and straw so it doesn't break, and we hope the customers are happy with what they bought. We also keep a small ladder handy to reach the items on the very top shelf.
