Shramjivi Vikas Engineering Foundation

Shramjivi Vikas Engineering Foundation is located at 22, Akash Deep Society in Kalol. We are part of the Gandhinagar district here in Gujarat. Our office is basically just a room in the society where we keep our papers and meet up. Being in Kalol taluka, we are surrounded by a lot of industrial and engineering work, which is why we started this foundation in the first place. We noticed that local workers and people in the engineering trade needed some kind of support system that wasn't just a big government office. So, we set up shop in Akash Deep Society. It’s a quiet residential spot which is nice when we need to focus on planning. We aren't some big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us who have lived in Gandhinagar for years and wanted to do something useful with our skills. Sometimes we spend the whole day out on site and other days we are just sitting here at number 22 drinking tea and looking over project details. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do because we are practical people. If someone needs help with a development idea or an engineering problem, they usually just find us through word of mouth. It's a very local way of doing things, and we prefer it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day without making any big fuss.
