Shapoorji Pallonji & Co Ltd

We’re located in Vill Unava, which is in the Gandhinagar district. Our spot is in Tejendrapura. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but it’s where the work is right now. Shapoorji Pallonji & Co Ltd has a presence here because of the big projects nearby. It’s not your typical corporate office. It’s more of a base for us to manage things on the ground level. We have a small group here. We know the local farmers and the shopkeepers nearby quite well. It’s a tight-knit kind of place to be. Work usually involves a lot of dusty boots and site visits throughout the day. We don’t wear suits and ties here. It’s just jeans and work shirts for everyone. We focus on getting the tasks done one by one. There isn't any corporate fluff in how we talk to each other. We just say things as they are. If a truck is late or a machine breaks, we deal with it. If the weather is bad, we just wait it out. We’ve become used to the pace of life in Unava. It’s different from the rush of a metro, but it’s still busy in its own way. We take pride in just being reliable. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just show up every morning and put in the hours. It’s a simple, honest way to live and work in the village.
