Seemachildren Hospital

Seemachildren Hospital is located in Sector 21, right near the Rajshri Cinema. You can't miss the cinema sign at night, it lights up the whole street. Our place is No. 147. It is usually quite noisy here, but not from the movies. It is mostly kids crying or playing with the few plastic toys we have in the corner of the waiting room. The walls are painted a light blue, but there are scuff marks everywhere from strollers and little feet. Being a children's hospital means things are always a bit messy. There are tissues and wrappers that sometimes miss the bin. We have a small team here. We spend our shifts checking heights, weights, and giving out shots. Parents are usually tired when they come in, and we are often tired too. The afternoon sun hits the front windows really hard, so we keep the curtains pulled most of the day. It’s a busy spot in Sector 21. We see a lot of the same faces from the nearby apartment blocks. There is a small desk where we keep all the files in big stacks. It takes a while to find things sometimes, but we manage. We don't have a fancy waiting system, people just remember who came in before them. It’s a real place with real problems, and we just try to help the kids feel better.
