Teletronic Services

Teletronic Services is based over at E 53 in the Gidc Electronics Estate. It is exactly what you would expect from a place in an electronics estate—lots of wires, soldering irons, and old circuit boards sitting on benches. The building itself is sturdy and functional, which is all we really need. We spend our hours looking at components and trying to figure out why things aren't working the way they should. It can be frustrating work sometimes, especially when a part is hard to find, but we have been doing this long enough to stay patient. The air in the estate usually smells a bit like ozone and solder, which we have grown used to over the years. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If you call, you'll probably just talk to one of the guys who has his hands busy with a repair. We have our regulars who come in from other parts of the estate, and we often trade tools or advice with the neighbors. It's a small community of technicians here. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things from getting too quiet while we work. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just the one that actually gets the job done without any unnecessary fuss or complicated talk. It’s just how we have always done things here at the electronics estate.
