Safal Industrics

Safal Industrics is out at the GIDC Electronics Estate, specifically at E 152. This area is mostly dedicated to tech and industrial stuff, so we are surrounded by similar businesses. Our building is a standard industrial unit. Inside, it’s mostly workstations and storage racks. We spend our days dealing with various electronic parts. It requires a lot of patience and steady hands. The air conditioning is usually running to keep the equipment from overheating. We have a small area where we keep our lockers and eat our lunch. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. The estate is quite large, so we often see the same delivery drivers making their rounds. We keep the floor clean because dust is bad for the electronics. Most of us have a routine—come in, check the schedule, and get to the bench. We talk about the local cricket scores or the news while we work. It’s a quiet atmosphere for the most part, not like a heavy manufacturing plant. We focus on the details. If a part isn’t sitting right, we take the time to fix it. There’s no rush to be flashy. We just want the work to be solid and for the day to go smoothly. It’s a decent place to spend the work week. Sometimes we have to double-check the components under a magnifying glass just to be sure everything is aligned properly before boxing.
