Vardhman Electo-Mech.

Our workshop is over at B 87/88 in the GIDC Electronics Estate. It is a big industrial area and can be a bit of a maze if you do not know your way around. We have been set up here for quite some time, focusing on electro-mechanical parts and assemblies. It is mostly humming machines and the smell of oil and metal around here. It isn't a showroom, just a place where we put things together and test them. Some days it is very quiet and we are just focusing on small parts, other days it is a lot noisier. We have a small group of guys who have been with us through the ups and downs. We are not big on meetings or anything like that. Usually, we just talk over what needs to happen for the day while having a quick morning tea. The space is a bit tight with all the machinery we have squeezed in over the years, but we know where everything is. Getting deliveries in and out of GIDC can be a bit of a headache with the trucks, but we make it work. It is a practical setup. We just focus on the orders we have and try to keep things moving. Most of our neighbors are doing similar stuff, so there is always someone around if we need a specific tool or a bit of help moving something heavy. It is just a regular day-to-day operation for us here.
