This State Bank Of India branch is right in the middle of the Gidc Electronics Estate. It’s an industrial area, so most of our customers are either workers from the nearby factories or the people running the small businesses here. The building isn't much to look at, just a standard block that fits in with the rest of the estate. We’ve got the usual blue signs outside. Inside, it’s often quite busy with people doing business transactions, company payrolls, or just withdrawing their weekly cash. The queues can get long, especially on paydays, and the fans overhead hum pretty loudly. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture; it’s all very functional and built to last. Working in an electronics estate means we get a lot of tech people coming in, but we also see a lot of manual laborers. It’s a real mix. The parking outside is mostly for motorcycles and delivery trucks. We try to get through the paperwork as fast as we can, but bank rules are bank rules. We’ve been part of this Gidc area for a long time. You won't find any corporate fluff here; we just deal with the accounts and the money as it comes in. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest place to work. We just show up every day and keep the bank running for the people in the estate.
