Sonki Solar India

We set up Sonki Solar India over in the GIDC Electronics Estate at A 18. This place is always busy with trucks and people moving crates around. We deal with solar stuff. It's mostly about panels and getting the setups right for people. The sun is our main thing, so we spend a lot of time looking at roofs and open spaces. The office gets quite bright in the afternoon. We keep a lot of heavy equipment in the back room. GIDC is a big area, so it took us a while to get settled and find our way around. We just do the work as it comes in. Sometimes we are out on sites all day long. Other days we are just here checking our inventory and cleaning the panels. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and climbing. We aren't big on talking. We just like to see the meters running and the power flowing. There's a small canteen nearby where we get our lunch most days. It’s a lot of technical talk between the guys. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Just us and the solar gear. It’s honest work. The electronics estate is a good place to be for this kind of thing. We see other workers every day and it feels like a real community. We keep the place organized, or at least we try to. There's always something to do or a battery to check. Solar is growing, so we stay pretty busy most months. We just take it one day at a time.
