Sonic Technology Inc.

Sonic Technology Inc. is based out of the GIDC Electronics Estate at C 9. Being in an electronics estate means we are surrounded by people who are always tinkering with gadgets and circuits. Our building is pretty straightforward, just a workspace where we handle various tech-related tasks and assemblies. It’s usually quiet inside, save for the hum of computers or the occasional beep of a testing device. We have a lot of workbenches with soldering irons and small components scattered around in little plastic bins. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the small stuff, and we spend hours looking at circuit boards through magnifying glasses. The air conditioning is always running because the equipment needs to stay cool, even when we are shivering a bit. We don’t have a flashy entrance or a big sign; most people who come here already know what they’re looking for. The staff is small, and we mostly keep to ourselves, focusing on whatever technical problem is on the desk that morning. GIDC is a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around, but we’ve been at C 9 long enough that it feels like home to us. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure the tech we handle works the way it’s supposed to. Some days are slow and others are a total scramble to finish a batch, but that’s just how the tech business goes.
