The GIDC Electronics Estate is a pretty big place, but you can find us at B 105. We’ve been set up here for a long time, working with all sorts of electronic components. It’s the kind of job where you spend a lot of time looking at small parts and making sure everything is sorted correctly. The air in the estate always has that faint smell of solder and ozone, which you get used to after a week. We have a small team, mostly local folks who have been around since we first opened the doors. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some workbenches, shelves full of boxes, and a desk for the accounts. Lunch is usually a shared thing where we talk about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. It’s a practical way to spend the day. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when a big batch of orders comes in at once, but we just put our heads down and handle it one box at a time. The neighbors at B 104 and B 106 are good people, and we all kind of look out for each other when it comes to security or deliveries. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just try to stay organized and keep the workbench clear.
