Powerlink Automation

Powerlink Automation is situated at B 165 in the GIDC Electronics Estate. This area is always full of activity, with trucks coming in and out and people moving between the different units. Our space at B 165 is where all the work happens. It’s filled with components, wires, and various machines we use for our automation projects. It is not the most organized place in the world, as things tend to pile up when we are in the middle of a big job. We don't have a dedicated sales team or a polished front office. We are mostly technicians and workers who enjoy figuring out how things work. Being in the electronics estate is helpful because we are surrounded by other people doing similar industrial work. Sometimes we borrow a tool from a neighbor or help someone out with a technical question. The days can be long, especially when we are trying to solve a particularly difficult problem. We drink a lot of tea and stay focused on the benches. It’s a practical environment where the priority is always the hardware. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations. If the automation works correctly, then we have done our job right. We’ve been in this unit for quite a few years and have seen the estate change around us. It’s a solid place to work.
