Digital Marketing

We are based over at 200 Sector 25. It is a simple setup with a bunch of desks and monitors scattered around. Being in Sector 25 means we are around a lot of other small businesses, so there is always some activity in the hallways. Our work involves a lot of sitting and staring at screens, trying to figure out how to get things to work online. It’s not as glamorous as people think. Most of the time it’s just us drinking way too much coffee and arguing over which color looks better on a website. We don’t have a big reception area or a fancy sign out front. If you walk in, you’ll probably see a few of us with headphones on, deep into some task. We like it that way because it helps us concentrate. The office gets a lot of sunlight in the morning which is nice, but it can get pretty warm by noon. We’ve had the same old furniture since we started, and the rug is looking a bit worn out, but it works for us. We don’t spend much time on our own promotion because we are busy doing it for other people. It’s a small operation and we handle everything ourselves, from answering the door to fixing the printer when it jams. It’s just a normal workplace with people who enjoy the technical side of things.
