Satyam Forging Industries

You can find us at 7 Meladi Estate, which is located in Tal Dascroi. We are right near the Gota Railway Crossing on Gota Road. Being near the railway crossing means we hear the trains going by all day long. It’s a loud, industrial kind of place, but that suits the forging work we do here at Satyam Forging Industries. The estate is full of other workshops and small factories, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal and machines humming. Our unit, number 7, is where all the forging happens. It gets quite hot inside, especially during the summer months, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been part of Meladi Estate for a good many years. We aren't a big, polished company. We are just a group of workers who know how to handle the forge. The yard outside usually has some raw materials waiting to be moved in. Gota Road can be a bit dusty with all the trucks passing through to the railway area. We don’t have a fancy front office or anything like that. When you come to see us, you’ll likely find us right in the middle of a job. It’s honest, heavy work. We just focus on getting the pieces right and keeping the equipment running. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do here in Tal Dascroi. We like the grit and the noise of the estate.
