S.Aradhana Knitting Mills Private Limited

Over at 3, Rajammal Layout in Poonthottam, we have our knitting setup. S.Aradhana Knitting Mills Private Limited is based here in the Venkateswaranagar West area. It’s a residential-turning-industrial kind of spot in Gandhinagar. The knitting machines have a specific rhythm that you get used to after a few hours. We spend our days watching the needles and making sure the yarn doesn't snag. It’s fairly technical work but we’ve been doing it long enough that it’s just second nature now. The layout is usually quiet until the machines start up in the morning. We don’t have a lot of visitors, mostly just deliveries and the occasional pickup. Our building is simple, just enough space for the mills and a bit of storage. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a big batch of yarn coming in. We don’t really do anything besides the knitting work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to make sure the machines are oiled and the fabric comes out looking okay. Living and working in the Gandhinagar area is pretty straightforward. There are a few other mills nearby, so we aren't alone in this. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks. It’s a regular life for us here at the mill.
