Samvedi Deafblind Foundation

Our place is in O 103 at Metrocity TP 44 over in Chandkheda, Ahmedabad. It’s a pretty easy spot to find once you get into the complex. The 382424 area has grown a lot lately, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. We have a few rooms here where we get our work done and meet with people. It gets a bit loud when the traffic picks up in the afternoon, but we’re used to it by now. We usually have a few people coming in and out, so the door is always moving. The office itself is just a regular setup, nothing too special to look at, but it serves us well. We’ve got some old filing cabinets that have been with us since the start. Most of the staff here live nearby, so we often walk to work if the sun isn't too strong. In the mornings, someone usually brings in a bit of breakfast to share while we go over the schedule. We don't really do the whole corporate meeting thing; we just sit around and talk about what's happening. It feels more like a small group of neighbors working together than a big organization. Sometimes the internet acts up, or we run out of printer ink at the worst time, but we manage. It’s just a normal day for us here in Ahmedabad, trying to keep things moving forward and staying busy with our daily tasks.
