Reliance Rural Development Trust

Our setup is in Sector 4/A of Gandhinagar, at 20/1. Gandhinagar is a planned city, so everything is in blocks, which makes it easier to find us. Reliance Rural Development Trust works out of this space. It’s a quiet area, which is good for focusing on the work we do. We deal with a lot of rural projects, so there’s always maps and reports lying around on the tables. The office isn't anything special to look at, just four walls and the equipment we need to get things done. We have a lot of visitors from different villages coming in to talk about various needs. It can get a bit dusty with all the files, but we try to keep it tidy. The staff here is mostly local, so we speak the language and understand how things work in Gujarat. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just look at what needs to be done each morning and start working. Sometimes we stay late when a big project is finishing up. There’s a nice tree outside where we sit sometimes to get some fresh air. It’s a decent place to work, and we like being part of the community here in Sector 4. Most of the time, the biggest noise is just the local birds or someone arriving for a meeting. We just get on with our tasks.
