Swapn Sajawat Curtain Shop & Furnishing

We are up on the first floor of Radhe Square, right near the Reliance Cross Road in Kudasan. It’s a busy spot, but it’s quieter once you get upstairs to our shop. We have rolls of fabric all over the place. Curtains are our main thing, but we do other furnishings too. People come in to look at the different materials and colors. We spend a lot of time with the measuring tape. A lot of the work is just sitting at the sewing machine and making sure the edges are straight. It’s a small team here. We mostly talk about textures and how things will hang in a window. It isn't a high-end boutique; it's a place where you can find something that works for your home. We have all kinds of people coming in, some who know exactly what they want and others who are just looking. We try to help them find something that fits. The shop gets a lot of light in the afternoon which helps see the real colors of the cloth. We’ve been in Kudasan for a few years now. It’s grown a lot around here. We just keep doing our work, one stitch at a time. It’s nice to see a house change just by putting up new curtains. Sometimes the thread tangles or a measurement is off, and we have to start a section over. That's just part of the job. We aren't big, but we stay busy.
