Prima Transformers

Our place is out in Rakanpur, specifically at 15, Ambica Estate. It's right near Amco Bank on the Science City Santel Road. If you’re coming from the city, it’s a bit of a drive, but it’s quieter out here which is nice for getting work done. Prima Transformers is basically a workshop where we deal with heavy coils and metal casings all day. It gets loud when the machines are winding the wire, so we usually have to talk over the noise. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time. The team here is mostly guys from the local area who’ve been doing this for years. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation with fancy suits. We wear our work clothes and keep our tools organized as best as we can. Every morning we open up the shutters and check what’s on the floor for testing. The estate gets a lot of movement during the day with deliveries coming and going. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but that’s just how it is around here. We handle transformers because that’s what we know. It isn't glamorous work, but it’s necessary for the power stuff people need. We like being near the bank since it makes errands easier. Mostly, we just stick to our corner of the estate and keep busy with the copper and steel until it’s time to head home.
