Pramukh Gir Gaushala and Farm is a place where things start very early, usually before the sun is even up properly. The cows need attention first thing and there is always plenty of cleaning and feeding to do. It’s physical work and your clothes are going to get dirty, that’s just a fact of life here. We have a few people who help out with the daily chores on the farm. Sometimes the tractors act up or a fence needs fixing, so it’s never a dull moment. Being so close to the residential society means we have to be mindful of the noise, but most of the neighbors are used to the farm life by now. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work that needs to be done on the land. People often stop by just to see the Gir cows or ask about the farm. The air out here feels a bit different than the city, though it gets quite muddy when it rains. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the animals are healthy and the farm keeps running.
