We run Novratan Spinners India Private Limited out of Gandhi Nagar, specifically at the Nav Ratan Mal location. It is a busy spot and there is always something moving in and out of the gates. Spinning yarn is what we do every single day, and it keeps us on our toes. The machines have a certain rhythm to them once they get going in the morning, and you sort of get used to the constant hum in the background. We have a bunch of local workers who have been with us for a long time, so they know the machines inside and out. Sometimes things break down or the power goes out, which can be a real headache, but we just fix it and keep going. Gandhi Nagar is a place where everyone kind of knows each other in the trade, so we see a lot of familiar faces. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to make sure the yarn we produce is okay and that our workers are treated fair. Our office is pretty simple, just some desks and a lot of filing cabinets with years of records. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. If you want to see what we are up to, you just come down to Nav Ratan Mal and see the piles of cotton and the trucks being loaded. It is honest work.
