We have our office at S-136 in City Mall-1. This mall is located within the Navajivan Mill compound in Kalol. It is an interesting place to be because the old mill compound has its own history, and now it has been converted into this commercial space. Being in a mall means we are surrounded by other shops and businesses, so there is usually a fair amount of foot traffic in the corridors. Our unit number is S-136, so you have to walk through the mall to find us. It is not a giant office, just a single unit where we have squeezed in our furniture and equipment. We spend most of our day here, dealing with the various tasks that come up. The mall can get a bit noisy on the weekends, but during the week, it is mostly business owners and staff going about their routines. We know the security guards and the people in the neighboring units quite well. There is a sense of community among the shopkeepers here. We don't have any big corporate signs, just a small nameplate so people know they have reached the right place. Sometimes we have lunch at one of the small food stalls in the compound. It is a very convenient spot for us to be located. We just keep our heads down and do our work in this little corner of Kalol.
