Malhotra Batteries Pvt. Ltd. is based at 26/3 in the Ashwamegh Industrial Estate. We are right opposite the M.N. Desai Petrol Pump in Changodar. It’s a very practical location. If you are driving down that way, the petrol pump is the best way to find us. The estate itself is always busy with loaders and lorries. Our space has been here for years. It’s got that specific smell of an industrial area, a mix of grease and dust. We don’t have a lot of decorations. There are some old wooden benches and a clock that’s about five minutes fast. Everyone who works here at Malhotra Batteries Pvt. Ltd. is used to the noise from the nearby units. We start our shifts early to beat the afternoon sun, though it still gets pretty warm under the roof. We spend our time checking inventory and making sure things are where they belong. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks from moving heavy stuff around, but it holds up fine. We don't go in for big corporate speeches. We just talk about the weather or the traffic on the highway. Changodar is a tough place to work sometimes because it's so busy, but we’ve made a good home here at Ashwamegh. It’s just a group of people putting in their hours and making sure the business stays on track. Nothing more to it than that.
