L & T Construction

L & T Construction is located on Wadipura Rajpara Road in the Ahmedabad Nagar area. We are very close to the New Swaminarayan Temple, which is a big landmark that everyone uses for directions. Our office here is pretty basic, mostly just a place for the staff to meet and go over the schedules. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at site plans. The area around the temple is usually quite busy with people, so it's a lively part of town to work in. We don't have a corporate lobby or anything like that; it's just a regular building where the work gets handled. Most of us live nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. Some days we are out on the sites more than we are in the office. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but that’s just part of the job. We’ve been at this location for a while and have seen the road get busier over time. It’s a straightforward operation here. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy descriptions for what we do. We just make sure the projects are moving forward. If you come by, you’ll probably see a few of us drinking tea and talking about the day’s tasks. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place.
