Keprej Electronics

Keprej Electronics is located at E-139 electronics GIDC Sector 26. It’s a standard industrial unit, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly rows of workbenches with soldering irons and testing equipment. We’ve been here in Sector 26 for quite a stretch of time. The morning routine is always the same: open the gate, sweep the front step, and get the lights on. We do a lot of assembly work for bigger companies, but we also take in smaller repair jobs from time to time. The radio is usually playing in the background, mostly just to drown out the sound of the traffic on the main road. Our chairs are a bit worn out, but they’re comfortable enough for an eight-hour shift. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon slump hits. The boss is usually around, helping out with the difficult stuff or talking to suppliers on the phone. We don't have any big meetings or fancy presentations. We just get the parts we need and put them together. Sometimes a shipment is late and we have to shuffle the schedule around, which is always a bit of a headache. The GIDC area is full of shops like ours, so we all kind of know each other. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We just try to do a solid job every day. It's nothing complicated, just putting in the hours and doing the work right.
