We are located at unit number 2 in the Meldi Estate, which is right near the railway crossing in Gota. If you are coming to see us at Keepsake Engineering Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., you will probably have to wait for a train to pass at some point. You can hear the whistles and the rumbling of the tracks all day long, but after a week of working here, you stop noticing it. The estate itself is a bit dusty, and there is usually some truck loading or unloading nearby. Our office is a mix of a workspace and a storage area for drawings and equipment. We have some large tables for looking at blueprints, and the chairs are the heavy kind that do not tip over easily. The walls are mostly bare, except for a calendar and a map of the local area. We keep a fridge stocked with cold water because it gets quite hot in Gota during the summer. Our team is mostly engineers who prefer wearing comfortable boots over shiny shoes. We spend a lot of time discussing projects over tea that we make in the back. The lighting is very bright because we need to see the fine details on our plans. It is a hardworking atmosphere where nobody cares much about appearances as long as the calculations are right. It is a solid place to work if you do not mind the noise from the trains.
