Swastik Tubes

We’ve been operating out of Plot No 5 in Navkar Estate for quite some time now. It’s a busy corner of the Santej Khatraj Road, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in. Being near Raj Nagar in the Kalol area means we see a lot of the same faces every day. Swastik Tubes is really just a group of people who know how to handle metal. We spend most of our hours cutting, shaping, and checking the stock we have in the warehouse. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Most of us have grease on our hands by noon. The block is usually noisy because of the machinery, but that’s just how industrial areas are. We get a lot of local workers from around the taluka who walk or cycle in. Sometimes the power goes out or the weather makes things difficult, but we just carry on with what needs doing. We don't spend much time on fancy meetings; we’d rather just be out on the floor seeing what’s ready to ship. The Navkar Estate has grown a bit over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. We focus on the tubes and making sure they’re sized right for whoever is buying them. It's a practical way to earn a living, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. We just try to do the job right and get home to our families at night.
